Executive Director, SD
Developed by the Hitachi Design Centre, Business Origami is a method for building a tangible representation of a “system”. Whether the system is physical, digital or something in-between, the Business Origami method provides a unique and participatory way for groups to co-build the way a system is structured and how it operates. This results in a model of a system that is easy for groups to share with others and promotes a better understanding of the system itself among the participants.
Have you always wanted to try this method but just never had the chance? This is your chance to get your hands dirty. In this workshop, we will set up what goes into creating a Business Origami map and then you’ll be building maps yourselves. You’ll get experience in using the method and an understanding of how you might use it in your own work. We’ll also be sharing some tips and insights into what we’ve learned from using Business Origami during a recent workshop.
