Be ready for the robots: How to approach AI as a designer
Starting with an initial introduction to AI and how it works I will then use a series of practical examples to introduce a framework
and set of practical tools to help designer approach their first AI-related projects.
We will consider some of the solutions AI can provide as well as some of the problems it introduces, particularly when applying in a large, heavily regulated organisation.
About Tom Castle
Tom Castle is a Senior Designer at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Natwest.
He has over 16 years of experience in designing and delivering complex products and services, covering everything from complex trading systems through to digital platforms supporting small businesses. He now works in the banks Artificial Intelligence Team.
As an active member of the London design community he is involved in various initiatives including acting as a mentor at DesignClub.org.uk , helping young people and children become design thinkers.)
